The first day of this conference is now complete and it was an excellent day. I don’t often get a chance to be a learner at a conference and that was very enjoyable. Daniel Pink really kicked the event off well with his thought provoking commentary. He touched on the keys to motivation in the education environment and why many of our current inputs on this topic don’t work. The rest of the day was spent listening to some of the other authors share insights about their books,

The evening was a real treat as Jeff Jones and his awesome team at Solution Tree treated all the authors to an evening at Lucas Oil Stadium. Getting to walk on the field that will host the next Super Bowl was a treat. Running a buttonhook pattern and catching a pass in the end zone was a bigger thrill.

Day 2 should bring another great day of learning.
